Australian Physiotherapy Association

The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) represents more than 15 000 physiotherapists around Australia.

The house rules:
While we strongly encourage user participation, there are some guidelines we ask third parties to follow when interacting with the APA through social media.
The APA will delete content that is considered, or is at risk of being considered, indecent, obscene, sexist, racist, homophobic, prejudiced, intolerant, illegal, or in breach of copyright. Content deemed to be out of context may also be removed.
Unauthorised use of the APA’s social media platforms for commercial purposes is not allowed. This includes advertising, selling, and job posting. Please direct job queries to the APA's Classifieds page: http://www.apaonline.asn.au/classifieds/
While advertising is not allowed, brands can be mentioned in the context of the discussion, as long as it is not libellous or considered ‘ambush marketing’.
The APA does not endorse or take responsibility for user-generated content, regardless of format.
Moderation policy
The APA reserves the right to moderate content posted on the organisation’s social media accounts.
If a post, video, message, or other form of communication is deemed to be in violation of the APA’s house rules, it will be deleted. In most cases, users will be given a warning. A second violation will result in the user being banned from the platform.
In circumstances were the initial violation is deemed by the APA to be excessive, users may be banned outright. Excessive violations may include instances of defamation, obscenity, or extreme intolerance, among other things.
